Skeem Saam is among the very few TV show that air in South Africa that regularly hold open auditions. This is how we came across many of the promising young talents who are currently appearing on our screens.
High school has ended for some of our favorite characters. In 2015, they will graduate through high school and university, and depart Turfloop to embark on fresh adventures in Johannesburg.
Skeem Saam We are looking for talented actors who are and passionate, committed, and disciplined, as well as an intense desire to be part of our show. The new actors will bell be the primary character in the news new, further Johannesburg world, where certain characters of our show will be moving to.
The characters we’re auditioning for include:
Young vibrant students (aged 18 – 25)
Lecturers (30 and over)
Teachers (24 or older)
Security guards (25 and over)
University Staff (25 and over)
Possible parents pairings (40 and over)
Skeem Saam primarily is a Sepedi show that was filmed on Turfloop, Limpopo but our Jo’burg world will be as authentic as a reflection of the diverse nature of Jo’burg as it is possible to make it. It will include individuals from across the nation and from various areas of the continent and internationally. We will be auditioning for the role in Hammanskraal as well as Johannesburg and are seeking females and males from all language groups in South Africa.
